Powdered hornworm chow is a "just add water" mix that can be cooked up stove top style.
Steps To Cook 1 Packet Of Hornworm Food (Yellow Food)
- Boil 4 cups water (NOTE: Must reach a ROLLING, Vigorous boil not just boiling)
- Add dry food packet to boiling water
- Mix thoroughly with hand mixer or in a blender for 3-5 min
- Pour into plastic container and place in refrigerator
- After it has hardened you can cut it up and feed it to your hornworms
